It is hard to believe this news. Professor Mack was one of the most thoughtful and upright people I met at Howard. He loved his family deeply and talked about them all the time. Professor Mack opened my eyes to the fact that racism is not only morally wrong, it is thoroughly unscientific. I will be writing my thoughts later today about him but also what impact the classes I took with him on my worldview.
